Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Villacorta Capital LLC ("we") handles information in the Fintex app. It is written to be read, not survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in plainer words.

Information we collect

  • Account information. If you sign in, we receive the name and email address associated with the sign-in provider you choose.
  • Learning progress. Lessons completed, streaks, scores and league standing, so your progress survives reinstalling the app.
  • Content you enter. Figures you type into the simulator, and questions you ask the coach.
  • Basic diagnostics. Crash reports and app version, used only to fix defects.

Ads and AI

  • Ads. The free version of Fintex shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and advertising data under Google's privacy policy. On iOS you'll be asked for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) and can opt out of personalized ads; Fintex Plus removes ads. Aside from AdMob, we do not share your data with advertising networks.
  • AI coach. Questions you ask the coach are sent to our third-party AI provider (DeepSeek) to generate a reply. Please don't enter sensitive personal or financial details; replies are for education only and are not financial advice.

What we never do

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We do not ask for, collect or store bank credentials or account numbers.

Children

Fintex is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hola@villacortacapital.com and we will respond within 45 days. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the CCPA or the GDPR; we honour those requests regardless of where you are.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, tell you inside the app.
