Accessibility

We want this site to work for everyone who comes to it, including people using a screen reader, navigating by keyboard, magnifying the page, or browsing with motion turned down.

The standard we aim at

We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

What we have actually done

• Contrast. Body and label colours were measured against their real backgrounds and adjusted until they met the AA ratio. Two colours in an earlier version failed and were darkened.
• Keyboard. Every link and control shows a visible focus ring, and a "Skip to content" link appears when you press Tab.
• Structure. Real headings in order, one main landmark per page, and a language declared on every document.
• Images. Every screenshot has descriptive alternative text. The decorative halftone artwork is hidden from assistive technology.
• Motion. If your system asks for reduced motion, the animated wave stops completely, the scrolling statement becomes an ordinary block of text, and every entrance animation resolves instantly.
• Without JavaScript. All content is fully readable if scripts do not run.

Where we know it falls short

• The statement section reveals its text progressively while you scroll. It is readable either way, but the effect assumes a scrolling viewport.
• App screenshots contain text baked into the image. The surrounding description carries the same information, but text inside a screenshot cannot be selected or enlarged on its own.
• This site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist.
